Matt Samler

As the senior managing director and leader of Vista Site Selection, Matt leverages his nearly 20 years of expertise in incentives negotiation, site selection, real estate brokerage and leadership to deliver optimal solutions for clients across North America. He has successfully negotiated and secured over $1 billion of incentives and facilitated site selection for millions of square feet of projects in almost every state in the U.S.

Matt guides clients through the entire site selection process, from data analytics and strategy development to incentives negotiation and project implementation. He has worked on a diverse range of projects, including cutting-edge manufacturing facilities in aerospace and automotive, headquarters and back-office relocations, distribution operations and high-growth tech companies. His extensive experience and insights have made him a sought-after speaker at economic development conferences and events.

Matt is also a board member of ReadiVet, a leading provider of at-home veterinary services. He joined the board at its inception in 2018 and has used his site selection and leadership skills to help ReadiVet grow from a small regional operation to a multistate enterprise.

Matt holds a J.D. from St. Mary’s School of Law and a B.A. in finance from the Southern Methodist University Cox School of Business. He was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2007 and is currently a non-practicing member. He also has a real estate salesperson license in Texas. He holds citizenship in the United States, Canada and England.
