Vista Site Selection Secures Ohio TMUD Tax Credits for Five Clients

Vista Site Selection’s clients were once again big winners of Ohio Transformational Mixed-Use Development (TMUD) Program tax credits.  Of the 13 projects that received these credits across the state, five were represented by Vista.

This is the fifth annual awarding of TMUD tax credits, funds for restoring historic properties and carrying out environmental clean-up projects.  Over the past five years, Vista has represented more than 40% of the winning applications and more than 45% of the dollars awarded.

Central Ohio

Vista clients in the Columbus region and Central Ohio have consistently found success in attaining TMUD credits; more than 50% of the dollars awarded in the region have gone to projects represented by Vista. 

This year, TMUD credits went to three Vista clients: Crawford Hoying’s Bridge Park YBlock Project, NCR Upper Arlington and the Marysville East project (also known as Kirk’s Landing).

Two of these winners represent the first-ever TMUD credits awarded to suburban Columbus projects.  One of those, the Bridge Park YBlock Project in Dublin, secured the maximum possible award of $20 million. It was one of only two projects in Ohio to receive the maximum award for 2026.  Only seven projects have ever received at least $20 million, and Vista has represented four of those winners.

Southeast Ohio

The Great Seal Medical Campus in Chillicothe marks the second time in as many years that Vista has helped secure a TMUD of at least $5 million for a project in Southeast Ohio.

Vista is proud of its work with projects in this often-underrepresented region; Vista has represented more than 80% of the dollars awarded to projects in Southeast Ohio in the history of the TMUD Program.  

Northeast Ohio

Vista continued its strong relationship with Team NEO, a Cleveland-based organization that works to retain, expand and attract jobs, businesses and opportunities in the Northeast Ohio region. 

This year, the Downtown Mansfield Forward – B project received funds to renovate the rehabilitate the former Hautzenroeder & Co. Cigar Manufacturers building into a mixed-use development.  It is the sixth Team NEO-affiliated project that Vista has secured TMUD credits for.
